To Love More Neighbors as Ourselves
We celebrate our 25th anniversary this year and today, as we prepare for significant milestones in 2022, we invite you to consider the opportunity to participate in our 25th anniversary initiative — the $130,000 Restoration Campaign.
This initiative will enable us to expand our compassionate efforts within the context of our mission of “equipping and inspiring the restoration of community, economy, and faith.”
Over the course of 2022 and beyond, we will:
- Finalize property renovations for Restoration House programs — renewing our commitment to meeting people where they are, building relationships, and reinforcing a belief in their abilities. Restoration House will be utilized for Reentry housing for women returning to the community. But a greater purpose for this property is the desire to see lives transformed and restored by Christ. With your prayer and support, we will demolish and renovate parts of the existing house, implement beautification efforts for the entire lot, and start the move-in process for both staff and women.
- Develop and grow our staff within the Crabbs’ ministry legacy. Our staff of 11 (including 4 who have joined over the last year!) will continue to expand the legacy of Duane and Lisa Crabbs. Every person on our team pours their heart and soul into serving the residents of South Akron and Summit Lake – whether it’s through The Front Porch, Reentry, Bike Shop, RICH Kids, or #AdjustTheCrown. Thank you for helping us continue all our programming to minister to our neighbors!
Your Opportunity to Love, Serve, Restore
We warmly invite you to stand with South Street to serve and equip the vulnerable in our own neighborhoods and strengthen individuals and families in the restoration of community, economy, and faith. Please consider stepping forward as a partner — celebrating 25 years of ministry along with us — in our $130,000 Restoration Campaign.
Thank you in advance for your role in this critical opportunity to come alongside neighbors and neighborhoods in raising up hope and seeking the welfare of our city. Your faithfulness is a blessing beyond words.
