South Street Ministries is excited to invite you to be a part of our annual “Trails N Rails,” a fun, informative and impactful community event that provides a morning of exercise and enjoyment for the entire family while raising funds to support a ministry that is changing the lives of today’s South Akron community.
By partnering with us in the form of a sponsorship, your organization will be promoted in the community and to the hundreds of people who will be joining us that day. Additionally, you will be investing in our local community and the future of our youth.
About the Event
START LOCATION:
Dirty River Bicycle Works
Event will be held on Saturday, Sep. 21, 2024
9:00 a.m. | Registration – Dirty River Bicycle Works
10:00 a.m. | Get on the train – Northside to Botzum
10:30 a.m. | Ride back – Botzum to Mustill Store
* Walkers – Take the train and walk to Blimp City where vans will take you to the Mustill Store.
11:30 a.m. | Picnic – Mustill Store
Trails N Rails is designed to be a family-focused, fun event with something for all ages. There are three elements to the event:
- Scenic Railroad Ride – Load up your bike and take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Train at Northside Station Botzum Train Stop
- Family Fun Ride, Walk, Run – Unload your bike and the route will start at Botzum train stop and end at the Mustill Store (approx. 6.1 miles)
- Neighborhood Picnic – Lunch served as well as activities for kids

Put your advertising dollars to work as you help to impact the South Akron Community. Be a part of Trail N Rails and help put South Akron on the path to success.
About Sponsorship
- There are eight levels of sponsorship, each with increasing value of advertisement for your organization. Sponsorship can be monetary or in the form of ‘gifts in kind’.
- South Street Ministries is a 501(c)(3) organization. A charitable contribution receipt will be sent out to all donors within one month after the event.
- No amount of sponsorship is too small (or too large).
- Donations in the form of non-monetary services or goods will be gladly accepted to be used as giveaways to participants and spectators at the event.
- e-mail distribution (915 subscribed), and South Street’s mailing (1,200 recipients). Sponsors will be listed in 2–3 e-mailings, 1–2 mailings, and weekly Facebook posts.
- Sponsors will be listed and highlighted on South Street’s Facebook page (1,444 Likes), South Street’s
- If the event is held remotely, due to COVID-19, sponsors will be acknowledged online, according to their level. Online acknowledgement will include Instagram, Facebook, E-News messages
The Event Title Sponsorship includes all Gold Level sponsorship items as well as:
- Listing as the presenting sponsor on the front of the T Shirt
- Listing on the Title Line of the event banner and signage.
- Logo and link to Company website on the slider of the South Street Website.
- All social media and event marketing will list the event as “South Street Ministries Trails N Rails Presented by TITLE SPONSOR
The Sleeve Sponsorship includes the Gold level sponsorship, plus a company logo on the Trails N Rails adult shirt sleeve.
