Community Gathering Hub

The Front Porch serves as an entry point – a gathering hub to the South Akron and Summit Lake neighborhood. For over twenty-five years, working with residents to empower personal and community development. The Front Porch is a place to gather for recovery, reentry, and community discussion.

The Front Porch is also the home to Porch Light Coffee Co.

Open Monday through Saturday 7 am to 3 pm. Porchlight offers great space, quality coffee, and a limited food menu. Porchlight continues in the traditions of the Front Porch Café by creating a place of values shared with South Street Ministries including hospitality, equity & diversity, and faith & spirit.
