Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Matthew 22:37-39)

In echoing Jesus’s command to His disciples, we find the essence of South Street Ministries. Our work, rooted in restoration and reconciliation, embodies a profound love for our neighbors.

We hold dear every single person in our community, cherishing their unique stories, potential, and humanity. Today, we invite you to participate in this loving gesture toward our neighbors.

We’re situated next to the Summit County jail, our eastern neighbor, and it brings us immense joy to welcome home individuals returning from prison. This transitional period can often be a challenging one, marked by a mix of emotions, apprehensions, and hopes.

We warmly invite you to join us in an act of love by sending an encouraging note. By sending an encouraging note, you can remind these returning citizens that they are thought of and prayed for.

Through these anonymous notes, let’s assure them that they were created by a God who loves them unconditionally, sees their worth, and has a hopeful future planned for them.

Kindly fill out the form below to craft your note of encouragement to a neighbor returning home from prison. Remember, your personal information will remain confidential and will not be included in the note, ensuring your anonymity.

Let’s together shower these individuals with love and support as they reintegrate into our community, letting them know they’re not alone in their journey.
