The Front Porch is the home base for the Summit County Reentry Network peer-to-peer group. We also are a partner with the Christian Community Development Association’s efforts against Mass Incarceration.
Every Tuesday from 4pm to 5pm, women and men leaving institutions gather at the Front Porch to discuss the issues surrounding reentry, learn about new services, connect to employment and support each other through friendships and references to different services.
Akron is the home of the recovery community. Ever since Dr. Bob founded AA, folks have gathered throughout Akron to seek sobriety together. The Front Porch hosts 8 recovery meetings including AA, CA, & NA meetings.
